We are located about halfway in between and are 8 miles from Brenham. So if you're making the long road trip by car or motorcycle stop by for a break. What We Do

Welcome to a piece of Heaven on Earth - A place for weary travelers to stop and take a break - We are an English style PUB and GRILL offering refreshment and relaxation to our guest -

The name "Pig and Whistle" was derived from the old English words " Pigging and Wassail" Piggin was a large lead cup which was used to hold a spiced wine, called Wassail" in the winter times this was a favorite drink of travelers and locals alike - and the name PIg and Whistle was taken as the signature for a place of Rest Relaxaition and Warm Friendship - Please stop by and let us extend to you a warm Texas smile and our friendship 

Pull off the road at Burton on Highway 290 and stop by to a place you will soon be a regular customer because it is our goal to make you feel at home -

We offer a Covered Pavillion - for Dancing and Relaxing - We have a Rose garden with a water fountain - We have a Decked area for your relaxiation as well

We have Airconditioned Pub - to relax inside if you prefer

We offer Shade trees and open air with tables to rest and relax after your long ride thru the Hill Country with a place to park your car or bike off the road away from traffic
